Piedmont Sponsors the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame

Piedmont Orthopaedic Complex is a longtime supporter of the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, which is the largest state sports museum at 43,000 square feet and houses some of the most treasured Georgia sports exhibits.

The 60th Annual G.S.H.F. Induction Banquet was recently held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Macon City Auditorium. The 2016 class of inductees included baseball’s Chipper Jones, football players Hines Ward and Jimmy Robinson, basketball players Trish Roberts and Mike Glenn, Coaches Glenn Wilkes and Luther Welsh, and sportscaster Phil Schaefer.

Miss America Betty Cantrell also attended the event to sing the National Anthem and support the local athletes.
